Dancers, even the gay ones, talk about that as if it is sleazy, shameful--it's the secrecy, they say, the self-hatred of it, and why even bother with the girls?--but Elaine can't imagine Mr. K doing anything that isn't aesthetically perfect. She can't imagine him hating himself, because he is a genius. If he sleeps with men, it must be beautiful.
